Honeysuckle Bush 'Cool Splash'

'Cool Splash' is a southern, bush honeysuckle cultivar with variegated leaves which are dark green with yellow to creamy-white margins. It is a cascading, low-growing, deciduous shrub that slowly grows to 2-3’ tall. Trumpet-shaped, yellow flowers bloom in late spring to early summer on attractive red stems. Common name of 'honeysuckle' suggests that the flower must be suckled in order to enjoy the honey-like nectar. This bush is native to the southern Appalachian Mountains.
