Join us for the inspiring story of organic gardener Jeff Permar, whose garden nuisance, Chunk the Groundhog, became an internet sensation. Experience his tale of how frustration morphed into understanding, and eventually, sharing his land with the charming critters.
Jeff and the ECGC team are coming together to help you think outside the box for organic pest management solutions for your veggie garden. Learn about the magic of companion planting, raised beds and container gardening!
This class will be held at the Garden Center on Sunday, May 19th at 11am.

Cooking Demo & Wine Tasting w/ Chef Paul Cullen
Get ready to be amazed! Chef Paul Cullen, while touring the world with classic rock band Bad Company, discovered his passion for fine wine, exquisite food, and the captivating culture that envelops it all. Join us as he creates and shares a trio of food & wine tastings that highlight the fresh ingredients you can grow right in your own garden.
This culinary adventure with Chef Paul Cullen is on Saturday, May 18th at 12pm. Tickets are $50 per person and include a cooking demo, 3 food & wine tastings and live music. Ticket proceeds benefit Cordrey Charities and ‘Paul Kares’, a non-profit for the culinary & musical arts to help young adults follow their dreams. Space is limited!

Irrigation 101 for Homeowners
Presented by RSC Landscaping, the Irrigation 101 for Homeowners Class is all about understanding and maintaining your residential irrigation system. You'll get to know the nuts and bolts of the system, unravel the common issues that usually pop up, and master the art of basic upkeep. This class is $10 per person and being held at the Garden Center on Saturday, April 27th at 11am.
Proven Winner Annual Container Demo
Unlock the secrets of crafting stunning annual containers with Proven Winners expert, Heather Poire! This demonstration class will break down the steps to help you create showstopping flowering containers using Proven Winners annuals. Heather will also cover the top summer annuals for sun & shade. Each class participant will take home a pre-made Proven Winners annual container! This class is $50 per person (including pre-made container) and will be held at the Garden Center on Saturday, May 4th at 11am.
Gift Card
Gift cards can only be used at the Garden Center, excludes services & RSC Landscaping.
Gift cards purchased online are only available to be mailed USPS or for in-store pick up. We cannot email gift cards. All online gift card orders will be mailed unless otherwise noted in "customer notes" at checkout.
We do our best to mail gift cards the day they are purchased, but please allow 24 - 48 hours for processing. All gift cards are mailed USPS and can take up to 5-7 days for delivery. If you need the gift card sooner, please call 302-945-3489 and we will do our best to expedite processing.
