1) What is your plant guarantee?

We guarantee plants if we install it for a time period of one year from the date of installation.  East Coast Garden Center / RSC Landscaping LTD will guarantee the value of the plant in the form of an "East Coast" Gift Card.  This will be one time only, for a period of one year from the date of planting.  This guarantee is only on the cost of the plant, not the installation labor. This guarantee only holds true if the plants are properly cared for and the original receipt is brought in.  We are happy to answer any questions in regards to plant care.

2) Do you deliver plants and if so what is the cost?

We deliver plants, mulch & stone. The cost to deliver is a minimum of $75 within 20 miles of the garden center and the price increases as the distance increases. Pallets of stone have a minimum delivery charge of $100 within a 20 mile radius and the price increases as the distance increases also.

3) Do you install plants and if so what is the cost?

Planting services are provided at a minimum charge of $200.00, or 50% of the original plant cost.This includes delivery, installation with a soil amendment, staking of tree if greater than 15-gallon container, and a one-year guarantee from date of installation. Labor costs are not guaranteed. Any bed prep, mulching, additional staking, and/or debris removal will be quoted separately by RSC Landscaping. Price increases depending on location.

Add-on/Restock/Cancel Fee: You will be charged 10% of the original plant cost if any changes are made prior to the installation date. NO changes shall be made within 5 business days of install. 

4) Do you hold plant material?

Yes we do. The items must be paid for in full and picked up within one week. If plants are not claimed within one week, a 10% restocking fee will be charged for these items. Also, we do not hold annual plants. We can only hold perennials, shrubs, trees and hardgood items. 

5) What are your hours of operation?

Our hours change depending on the season and the most current hours will be displayed on the homepage at the top right corner.

6) How do I sign up for a class or event?

Classes and events are posted on the calendar at Classes & Events - East Coast Garden Center. If registration is required for a class or event, you can do so through the calendar, via phone, or in-person at the garden center. Payment is due at time of registration.

7) Are you open year round?

Yes we are. During the winter season our days and hours of operation do change so please check the website or call the garden center to clarify.

8) How do I sign up to be on your email list?

9) Where are you located?

We are located at 30366 Cordrey Road Millsboro, DE 19966. Directions: Off of route 24, turn North at the traffic light at Mt. Joy Road (Road 297) by the Nanticoke Indian Museum & Royal Farms. Travel about ¾ miles and turn left at Cordrey Road (Road 308). East Coast Garden Center is located ½ mile on the left.

10) Do you have landscape design services?

Yes we do. If you need help picking out plants or would like a design done at the garden center one of our knowledgeable employees can do this for you. If you would like someone to come out to your property and assess it, make recommendations and create a design for you we can give your information to RSC Landscaping and they can set up an appointment. 11) What plants do you carry?

We have a search-able list of plants that we grow or may have available at the garden center. This list is NOT a list of what we currently have in stock as it changes daily. 12) What is your cost for Mulch/Stone/Topsoil/Compost?

Hardwood Mulch = $40/yard.  Black Dyed and Brown Dyed Mulch = $50/yard.  Bulk Stone: 1-3" Del Valley Stone = $110/ton; 3/4" Del Valley Stone = $100/ton; 1/4" Del Valley Stone = $100/ton.  Topsoil = $60/yard. Compost = $60/yard.  Bulk Pine Fines = $55/yard. Pine Needle = $11/bale. Straw = $11/bale.

13) Do you have a designated day for senior discount?

Yes, Tuesday 10% off plant purchases only. 50 years plus is considered senior. 

14) When do you have sales on plants?

We run different sales throughout the year. Keep an eye out for them in the local newspapers, on our Facebook page, on the website, and in our event calendars. You can also sign up for our e-newsletter on the home page.

15) Can I purchase a gift card online?

Yes you can. Click on SHOP at the top of the page. Our gift cards can be purchased in increments of $50. If you would like a different amount please call the Garden Center and we can take your information over the phone.
